Stay In CDA Rentals — Policies

Effective Date: Applies to all reservations confirmed on or after the booking date.

These policies are intended to provide clarity, fairness, and a comfortable experience for all guests. By completing a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Payment & Reservation Policy

To reserve your stay, a refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit temporarily removes the selected dates from availability while your reservation is confirmed.

The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to check-in. Payments are securely processed via Stripe.

Reservations are not considered confirmed until all required payments are successfully received.

Why we require a deposit: Once dates are held, we often turn away other inquiries. The deposit helps ensure commitment while protecting against lost booking opportunities.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 10 days or more before check-in:
The deposit is fully refunded. No additional charges apply.

Cancellations within 10 days of check-in:
The deposit is retained. Additional charges may apply if the stay cannot be rebooked.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: After 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM
  • Late arrivals: Allowed via self check-in

Late Checkout

Late checkout must be requested and approved in advance.

Unauthorized late checkouts may result in a $75 fee due to cleaning and scheduling impacts.

House Rules

We ask guests to respect the property and the quiet residential setting.

  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property (indoors or outdoors)
  • No parties or events
  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Registered guests only — no unapproved visitors
  • Please treat the space and furnishings with care

Fees & Violations

Failure to follow house rules may result in additional charges, including but not limited to:

Smoking or Vaping

Smoking or vaping anywhere on the property may result in a $300 smoking violation fee, plus any additional costs required to remediate smoke odors or damage.

Excessive Cleaning

Excessive cleaning beyond standard turnover may result in additional cleaning fees of up to $150, based on the time, labor, and materials required.

Damage to Property or Furnishings

Guests are responsible for the actual cost of repair or replacement for any damage to the property or furnishings beyond normal wear and tear.

During Your Stay

We live on the property but keep interaction minimal so you can enjoy your space privately. Everything is set up to be self-service, but help is always available if needed.

Please note:

  • We do have cats and dogs on the property
  • There are two puppies who may bark occasionally and are currently in training
